One Month (29 Juanuary 2005) Little Ying Xi was due for her one month injection - Hep B 2nd dose. We went to Hougang Polyclinic. They were supposed to conduct a growth assessment for her but well ... those who had gone there before knew what kinda service they provide. -_- So we decided to go to Sengkang Polyclinic for the next appointment. Oh yah ... forgot to mention ... coz Ying Xi had slight Jaundice. On 03 January 2005, she was to go for a routine check. The doctor diagnosed that she has slight Jaundice & was to go back a week later. In order to check on the Jaundice level, they had to take her blood for test. The STUPID MALAY NURSE ... poked her heel (yah right ... the feet that heel) twice. Stupid! Anyway, her Jaundice went away in about 2 weeks. So nothing serious ar. During this one month period ... I never bathe at all! It was so nice to be in water again. Lolz. & I can start to eat foods I simply love! Hehe. So for the second month of my maternity leave, I'm going back to my Hougang place with my baby during the weekends ... coz my hubby missed Ying Xi a lot. Hehe.
Newborn Yingxi
At Birth (29 December 2004 - 1940hrs) She weighs 2.92 kg ... measures 49 cm ... We wasn't told about her blood group ... but assumes it's same as her daddy ... B+ ... =) She got quite a lot of hair ... & a small birthmark on her knee. My hubby said next time wear mini skirt not nice. -_- Stupid Dad! Lolz. She was very cheeky since the day she was born. Which baby would stick out their tongue & smile until can't see the eyes? Lolz ... out princess lorz. Hehe. (31 December 2004) New Year eve ... our princess & I discharged from the hospital & the start of my confinement ... when I can't bathe for ONE WHOLE MONTH ... -_- & can't eat my fave foods ... no cold drinks ... not even plain water?! Haiz. & I've learnt to adapt life with one more person ... (03 January 2005) My hubby went to KKH to register her birth certificate. Baby Hong Ying Xi ... Fang Yingxi ... No Christian name? Let her decide when she grows up ... coz I wanted to name her Winnie & my hubby added The Pooh ... =P In future she don't like then she'll blame me ... so let her decide herself. =P During the period of my confinement, I was actually staying at my mum's place. Had a lot a lot of heated arguments with my hubby ... over family, over baby, & over money ... haiz. Anyway, this did not affect much on our relationship. I know he loves me ... & I'll alwayz love him. =)
